Category:Software Map

From low-art Gloominati

Jump to: navigation, search

This category is intended to be the root of the "Software Map" tree, created in response to the "what program does ____" problem. In here you will find software categories containing programs and subcategories, and a flat listing of all program-devoted pages. This requires that each page devoted to a specific program (unless that program is itself a plugin/extension, as is the case with Firefox extensions) is a member of the Software Map category as well as the <application type> subcategory.

Note: the assumption here is that all software is either Linux-based or platform independent.
